We are your go-to-everyday type of supermarket but our specialty is imported products. We carry food items, health and beauty products, pet foods and accessories, cleaning products, and household products. You will find products from countries such as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium Holland, the United Kingdom and from Russia as well as Spanish products. Occasionally there will be special offers on some of our items; these may be in the form of volume discounts, sales on items in packs, or other types of promotions, all of which will be perfectly marked on the sale item.

 

1.  How do I place an order?

Look for the desired product

Navigate and discover our products in the sections and subsections that you will find in the menu at the top of our page. You can search for the products either by browsing a section or by directly searching for it in the Search box above.

You also have the option of searching for a product by country. You will see all of the sections available for that country and the products we carry. 

Shopping basket

When you find the product that you want, just put it into your shopping basket located in the upper right hand corner of the page. There you can see the items that are in your shopping basket or by clicking on a product, you can increase the number of items or remove them from the basket.

Choose the delivery

If you want delivery to your home:

  • PENINSULA: All deliveries to the Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) are 6,99€ (tax included).
  • ALICANTE PROVINCE: Deliveries to Alicante province places are 5,20€.
  • BALEARIC ISLAND: This has a different price. You can see the Price depending on the weight of your order. Prices are in these steps: 10kg, 20kg, 30, 40kg…

If you want to pick it up at the closest NacexShop:

  • For 6€ your order will be available in the pick up point that you choose
  • There are more than 750 Nacexshops in all Spain. Monday to Saturday with a wide timetable.
  • Check the one closest to you here
  • You can choose this option if your order is máximum 20kg.

Paying for your order

When all of your order is in the shopping basket, click on "check out" to open our payment page. You can pay either by credit card, through PayPal or Cash on Delivery.

2.  How are the deliveries made?

There are two options. You may pick up your order in the closest Nacexshop or you may chose to have it delivered to your home or office. What is better for you?

To pick it up in NacexShop: At your own pace – 6€

At your own pace: Don’t have to wait or ask yourself when its your food coming.. just go to pick it up whenever is best for you

  • For 6€
  • Your order will be available in the NacexShop you choose from 1pm of next working day. (You must have made your order before 3pm).
  • There are more than 750 Nacexshops in all Spain. Monday to Saturday with a wide timetable. Check the one closest to you here. 
  • You can choose this option if your order is máximum 20kg

Home delivery: For your confort - 6,99€

Every purchase that is made before 3:00 p.m. will be delivered on the following business day (some times 48h). Deliveries are scheduled from Monday to Friday.

To the Peninsula 24h/48h - 6,99€

  • Your shopping wil be at your house the next working day after you made your order, if its made before 3 pm. (sometimes 48h)
  • After this time, the delivery will be processed the following day and delivery will be will be made the subsequent business day (48 h).
  • The price is 6,99€ to all the Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and 5,20€ to Alicante Province places

Home delivery to Balearic Islands – Price by weight

  • Your delivery will be 72 to 96 hours after completing the purchase.
  • To ensure delivery within this time period, the purchase must be completed before 3:00 p.m.
  • If it is made after 3:00 p.m., the order will be processed the following day and delivery will be will be made in the subsequent 72 to 96h
  • The price will depend on the ranges of 10kg, 20kg, 30kg,…

If you live in a community with personal or electronic surveillance, you must provide the delivery person with the necessary authorizations.

 

3.  Where does Costablanca deliver?

Costablanca delivers to the entire Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and Islas Baleares. Delivery to "All of Spain" refers only to the abovementioned. This excludes (for now) Islas Canarias, Ceuta and Melilla.

4. Is there a minimum order amount?

When shopping in Costablanca, please keep in mind that the minimum amount for an online order is 20€.  

5. Can I buy a lot of liquid products (water, soft drinks, wines ...)?

Our shipping policy has a limit for large orders of liquid packs (water, soft drinks, beers, juices, wines...). Please note that we do not have a store on every corner and we do not have a fleet of our own. Therefore, we have limited purchases up to certain quantities of liquids. If for any reason you manage to skip our computer limits, we will notify you immediately, removing excess products from your order and making a refund immediately (both for the price of the products and the proportional cost of those products in the shipment).

If you have doubts about this and you want to make a special order with many products of this nature, you should write us an email to help@supercostablanca.es  and together we will find the best solution.

5. How can I request an invoice?

You can generate an invoice of you order as a company, a self-employed or a particular. Open your Order History at your account and you will find your orders invoices in pdf, can either save it or print it. Please note that if you have opened a personal session and we do not have your company CIF or DNI as self-employed, you should write us an email to help@supercostablanca.es so that we can add it to our database.

Remember to generate your invoice during the ordering process or immediately afterwards. By law (Royal Decree 1496/2003), you have until the 16th of the following month to generate the invoice before the information is deleted from our system.

6. Do we send substitute products?

No, In the case that the item ordered is not available, we do not send a substitute; we will return the price amount of that item in a maximum time period of 4 business days. If you should have any doubts or wish to know when the refund will be returned, you may send an email to  help@supercostablanca.es

7. Is fresh produce and frozen food available?

At the moment, fresh produce and frozen foods are not available online. These items will not be included until we can guarantee that they will reach you in perfect condition

However, depending on the item and if you reside close to one of our stores, it may be possible to make a special delivery if you request it. Costablanca will take all of the necessary measures to ensure that the delivery arrives in good condition but the customer is ultimately responsible for the special fresh produce and frozen food order. 8. What happens if I am not at home when the delivery is made?

If you are not at home at the moment the delivery is made, the delivery person will leave a notification for the client in a visible or accessible place, such as the postal box or buzzer. The following day, the client will be called about a second delivery. Please be attentive to the telephone in order to set up a delivery time. This process will not incur an additional cost. However, in the case of a third delivery, the client will be charged an additional delivery charge. The client may also pick up the order at the closest delivery agency without any additional cost as an alternative delivery option.

9. Return policy

Our online policy is based on offering you maximum quality products and efficient shipping. However, occasionally errors do happen during the time from preparation of your order to its delivery.

You may want to return an item because:

Standar Return

The item you ordered is in poor condition or it is not the item you ordered.

If the item that you receive is in poor condition, due to a fault either in the delivery service or from our warehouse, you should notify us as soon as possible that your item has arrived in poor condition so that we can begin the return process. You have 14 days from receipt of the item to do so and should take the following steps:

  1. Take a picture(s) of the item as soon as you open the shipping box and see that the item is in poor condition. Take as many photographs as you think necessary. Taking pictures of the item as well as of the shipping box will help us to determine where the problem was and to prevent future problems of the same type.

  3. Wrap the item in a plastic bag and seal it correctly. Return shipping should be in the same packaging as the item was received, or if not possible, in a similar packaging that will guarantee a return in optimum condition.
  4. Once we receive your request, we will answer you and we will ask you to send us the photos made in the first step to the following email: help@supercostablanca.es
  5. As soon as the Customer Service department receives the returned item, and checks that the information is correct according to our return policy, we will send a messenger to your address to retrieve the item.
  6. When we have received the item and have made the appropriate evaluation, a refund for the value of the item will be made to you in the same method as you used to pay. This refund will take place in a maximum of four days following receipt of the item.

Change of mind return

The item is not what you expected or you have changed your mind.

Keep in mind that in this case, Costablanca will refund the cost of the item minus the return shipping costs. You have 14 days from receipt of your order to make your return.

Start the Return process from your User profile option "Order history", once there click on the "Details" button of the order which contains the product you want to return. There you will find the list of products of that purchase. You must select the product you want to return and write down in “Merchandise return” the cause of the return. Please, start the comment with the words  CHANGE OF MIND RETURN. . Complete this process with the "Make an RMA slip" button.

We will reply you with a Right of Withdrawal Form to exercise your right to the return, which you must sent us back complete with your information. In addition, we will explain how you must pay the delivery costs to make the return. Wrap the item in a plastic bag and seal it correctly. Return shipping should be in the same packaging as the item was received, or if not possible, in a similar packaging that will guarantee a return in optimum condition. We will refund the cost of the returned item by the same method as the payment was effected, within a maximum period of 14 days. We may retain the refund until we receive the product.

The Right of Withdrawal or Return is not valid (and therefore a refund will not be made) in accordance with the Legislative Royal Decree 1/2007 (General Consumer and User Protection Law) in the following circumstances:

- The item is in poor condition (it should be in the same condition as when it was received)

- The item was made to consumer specifications or was personalized

- Products that can deteriorate or have a close expiration date such as foods or beverages with a short shelf life or that should be kept refrigerated

- Goods that are sealed for consumer protection and should not be returned for health or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken

- Products that after being delivered have been mixed together with other products and due to their nature are inseparable from them

- Alcoholic beverages priced according to the date of the sales contract and which cannot be delivered within the following 30 days, and whose real cost depends on market fluctuations that the business cannot control

These Sales Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services of the online store and the use of the website www.supercostablanca.es of SUPERMERCADO COSTABLANCA S.L. (henceforth Costablanca), registered office located at Camí de la Mar, number 30, postal code 03580, Alfaz del Pi (Alicante) inscribed in the Mercantile Registry of Alicante, Volume 42149, Page 174, Sheet B-401884 and Tax Identification Number B-65410011.

Both the navigation and the utilization and /or acquisition of any of the services offered on this site, confer on you the title of User and supposes the full acceptation, without any reservations, of all and each of the Terms and Conditions valid at the moment that you, the User, (henceforth, "User") access the webpage Costablanca.es. At any time and without previous notification, these Terms and Conditions can be modified. For this reason, the User is obligated to read Terms and Conditions each and every time the User accesses the website Supercostablanca. The Terms and Conditions that are published on the website Supercostablanca at the time the User utilizes the website services offered by Costablanca are considered valid and applicable.

Access to and/or use of said services and content supposes the full and unconditional acceptance by the User of the Terms and Conditions published by Costablanca on the website Supercostablanca.es at the time the User accesses or uses said website.

The User certifies that he/she is above the age of majority and has the judicial capacity to enter into contract with these Terms and Conditions, as well as having read and understood the content of the same. Likewise, the User expressively accepts without exception that the access to and use of this website and its contents is his/her sole and exclusive responsibility.

Access, navigation and use of the website

The User should register as such by completing a registration form with an identifying User name and a password which will be personal and non-transferable. These will allow the User to effect a purchase from Costablanca of those products in which the User is interested.

Registration as a User is free of charge and during the first session will not be necessary until the order is finalized.

The registered User agrees to use correctly and keep secret the username and password that are assigned to him/her to access our services. The User will accept the costs and damages that may occur from the use of our services by any third party that makes unauthorized use for that purpose of the Username and password, or resulting from the loss of the Username and password by the User. In case of loss and to prevent unauthorized use of the Username and password, the user should contact Costablanca immediately.

Only one client per delivery address is permitted; however the same client can have different delivery addresses associated with a same user account.

Orders, prices and shipping



ORDERS

Users can order from the Internet site: www.supercostablanca.es. Each user of Costablanca declares him/herself to be of legal age of majority and that he/she has full legal capacity to use credit cards and PayPal accounts, and declares that he/she has sufficient funds to cover the costs incurred by the purchase of products from supercostablanca.es

By clicking on the "Pay" button during the shopping process, the User declares full acceptance and without reservation the totality of the actual Terms and Conditions.


DATA AND SHIPPING

The information registered in supercostablanca.es constitutes proof of the transactions carried out between Costablanca and the User. Costablanca will confirm the order by email. Therefore and for added security, the creation of User accounts by temporary email services is not permitted.

Contractual information will be available in Spanish and in English.

The contents of this Supermercado Costablanca website are governed by Spanish laws and in the Spanish language, the English translation being only for interpretive purposes and for the convenience of our clients.


SHIPPING

Shipping costs will be the following:

  • 6,99€ (21% tax included) deliveries to all Peninsula (Spain and Portugal)
  • 5,20€ (21% tax included) deliveries to Alicante Province’s places
  • Balearic islands: prices will be calculated depending on the weight of the order. Dependin on these ranges 10kg, 20,kg, 30kg..

PRICES

The corresponding taxes are included in our prices.

Costablanca reserves the right to modify prices at any moment; however the products will be invoiced based on the tariffs valid at the moment of placing the order (to reserve the availability of the product), excepting typographic or informatics errors.

Costablanca reserves the right to unilaterally cancel an order if the transport conditions are inadequate economically and/or operationally unviable. Likewise, Costablanca reserves the right to cancel any order whenever deemed appropriate.

Images of website

The images of the products offered are illustrative only and might not coincide with that of the product offered since the manufacturers and brands are continually renovating their packaging. Nonetheless, Costablanca makes a daily effort to update all the information so that the product received is the one shown on the website. 

Stock or product availability

Costablanca strives to please all of its users' demand for products. In the event that a product is unavailable after completing an order, the User will be notified either by email or by telephone at the number registered by the User and he/she will be given the option to cancel the entire order or to modify it including the corresponding economic modification.

Depending on the type of credit card used for the purchase and the specific bank conditions, the refund hold may take several days to be deposited in the User's account..

Payment

Payment for purchases can be made by credit card, through PayPal or Cash on Delivery (this last one will only accept cash and not credit cards). Accepted credit cards of are Visa and MasterCard. In the event that the Point of Sale terminal declines the credit card, the order will be automatically canceled and the client informed.

Security and safety

For your security, Costablanca has adopted the payment gateway system Redsys for payment by credit card. Redsys has been developed complying with the standards and specifications of international brands (as verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, J-Secure...) which ensures its reliability. In addition, the Redsys gateway also has a Secure Authentication System (SAS) to provide cardholders with secure authenticated payments in their online purchases.

Only the bank and PayPal have access to the banking data associated with the means of payment. Costablanca does not have access to or register banking data during the payment operation nor at any other moment.

"This business is committed to not permitting any transaction that is unlawful or that is considered by the credit card companies or the bank to have the potential to damage the well-being of the same or negatively influence the reputation of the brand. The following activities are prohibited under the framework of the credit card companies: the sales or offering of an item or service that is not in total accord with the laws applicable to the Buyer, Issuing Bank, Card(s) holder. The following is also explicitly prohibited:"

  • "Sales of alcoholic beverages to consumers under the age of 18 years old"

Cancelling an account

If the User no longer wishes to belong to Costablanca, he/she should send an email specifying a desire to cancel to  help@supercostablanca.es and the account will be canceled and all data referring to the account removed.

Each delivery is considered completed at the moment the product is placed by the shipper at the User's disposal, at the address the User specified when completing the order, as certified by the control system of the shipping company.

Receipt of the order implies that the client is in agreement with the general conditions of the supermarket as outlined on the website and with the total content of the order. If there should be any problem with your order, we advise you to notify us immediately so that our Customer Service department can resolve it as soon as possible.

Damage to the exterior of the shipping package

In the event that the package arrives torn, wet, resealed with a tape that does not have the Costablanca logo, or the User believes that the contents may be damaged, it is very important that the User should note this incidence on the shipping form at the moment of delivery and that and follow-up as soon as possible by email to help@supercostablanca.es with the corresponding photographs of the damaged package or products. Billing

An invoice can be generated during the order payment process. If for some reason it is not generated at this time, the User can generate the invoice from his/her session by clicking on the order or by sending an email to help@supercostablanca.es. The maximum time limit is the 16th of the month following following that of the purchase date (Royal Decree 1496/2003).

Modification of the sales terms and conditions

Costablanca reserves the right to modify its Terms and Conditions without previous notice, being able to change, eliminate or add contents as well as services offered by them as well as the manner in which these are presented or located in their servers.

These changes should be accepted by the User each and every time he/she makes a purchase through the website supercostablanca.es.

If any term included in the current Terms and Conditions were declared, totally or partially, null or ineffective, such nullity or ineffectiveness would affect only that disposition or the part of it to which it refers, not affecting the remaining general conditions in their totality or any other part of the conditions.

Industrial and Intellectual Property

All of the contents of this website (products, photographs, commercial marks and brand names, etc.) of visual as well as of textual character that appear in supercostablanca.es are the exclusive property of their respective and legitimate owners. Costablanca has the legal right of use to promote the contents in accordance with the limitations imposed by the brand.

11. How is my data protected?

Protection of Personal Data and Information

Costablanca recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of the user of our web page. Therefore, it has developed a Protection of Personal Data and Information policy so that the User can freely and voluntarily decide to provide Costablanca with the personal data required or obtained from the use of the webpage www.supercostablanca.es  and/or request any of the services offered thereon.

Costablanca undertakes to protect the confidentiality of the personal data, lodged on a secure server, of the users of its webpage. Costablanca reserves the right to unilaterally modify, at any moment and without prior notice, its Protection of Personal Data and Information policy to adapt it to the existing current legislation.

To request information or to purchase goods, the User must provide Costablanca with certain personal information, real and valid, that will be used in order to provide the requested service. Without said information the User will not be able to formalize registration and will not be able to access or to use our online service. This data will be incorporated in files property of Costablanca in order to manage and facilitate orders and will be used internally to personalize the products and services offered to the User. In agreement with the Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December referring to Protection of Personal Data and Information (henceforth "LOPD"), the User will have the right to access, rectify, cancel and opposition as established by current legislation with respect to his/her personal data collected according to that established in the previous paragraphs, by means of sending a photocopy of the User's National Identity Document, passport or equivalent identity document to the contact address  help@supercostablanca.es whereupon the interested party will be advised that he/she can exercise his/her right to access, rectify and cancel this data.
